Stand Your Ground When You Know You Should

There are times when it is extremely difficult to stand your ground, but sometimes it needs to be done. It is absolutely necessary that a person not give in to high-pressure sales tactics when he knows that it will be a bad thing. Submitting oneself to another’s persistent and possibly obnoxious behavior may cause undue hardship and regret. Giving in to an unscrupulous person will likely be an unwise action, which may produce unwanted results in the end.

Everyone wants to get ahead financially. It is common to want more money and more freedom which can be derived from having more funds. It is a natural thing to want to listen to others who make big promises. But can they deliver on those promises? Often the answer is a resounding NO.

This life has many challenges, not the least of which are financial problems for many people. It may be difficult to get ahead so a person tries new so-called opportunities, which come his way. There are gurus in many fields of endeavor, such as home based businesses, Internet business, and stock trading. They can talk a big story, but they are often just trying to make a sale without regard for the person with whom they are attempting to conduct business. There are many who cannot and should not be trusted.

Shortly before Japanese Americans were unjustly incarcerated during World War II, there were rumors going around as to what was going to happen to them. They thought they could trust their own government and the constitution of the United States of America. They found that they were rejected and persecuted by their fellow citizens when they were imprisoned in camps. Government leaders turned their backs on them and went along with this inhumane treatment of these innocent people who had done no wrong. They experienced a lot of hatred toward them. They found that life was extremely difficult. Some tried to stand their ground and resist the curfew and imprisonment imposed upon all the Japanese Americans living on the west coast of the United States. It did no good, but at least they tried to resist.

People can find themselves in difficult circumstances when they are not strong enough to stand their ground against pressure from another person. Some stock traders trick or coerce people out of their hard earned money with false promises and unlikely claims of fortune and prosperity. They are people who are usually out for their own interests although they may maintain that they have a program, which will not and cannot lose.

If you know what they are trying to make you do is not in your best interest and/or you do not have the money, which they think you have, it is important to not give in to them. They must not win when you are going to be the loser. You need to stand your ground when you know you should and it is for your own good.

The Guide to Use an ATM Machine

Since the dawn of the ATM (automated teller machines), banking has never been simpler. An automated teller machine, or ATM, provides one the convenience to make quick and prompt cash withdrawals. However, the purpose of the ATM does not end there, various other banking transactions, such as depositing money, transfer of funds and balance inquiries and account updates are possible via ATM machines. Since, the system saves, time and reduces delays, banks have ATMs located inside, outside or at various convenient and accessible locations, like gas stations, grocery stores and malls, so on.

There are a few things to consider before using an ATM,

Verify the network logos: These logos may be located in the ATM or debit cards, are indicative of the acceptable banking consortium. This means the ATM machine will have a list of acceptable logos posted on it. Even though many cards are universally acceptable these days, there is a charge on using the card in other bank ATMs after a number of withdrawals.

Be Vigilant: The use of debit card at ATM machines should be done under complete care, make sure no onlooker can see the PIN designated to provide access to your account.

These machines are easy to operate and provide systematic guidance to the users, the steps involved in using an ATM.

Step 1: Select the appropriate bank ATM.

Step 2: Insert your ATM card in the designated slot or swipe the card depending on the machine.

Step 3: Select the language that you desire for the user interface, most machines offer English and regional languages to choose.

Step 4: Enter the PIN (Personal Identification Number) provided along with the ATM card at the time of registration. Make sure you memorize the PIN and never disclose the same to a stranger or even acquaintance, to avoid the risk of card fraud.

Step 5: Select from the given transactions. Generally, the options are available at most ATMs, such as withdraw, deposit, balance inquiry and transfer. If you choose to withdraw, the ATM prompts for the amount, which once entered the ATM checks the balance of the account, and renders the cash if feasible.

Step 6: The machine prompts for printed receipt, which will be provided if you opt for the same.

Step 7: One can choose to continue with more transactions or finish the same.

Make sure to remove your ATM card, if it is inserted at the beginning of the transaction, without fail.

The common dilemma when using the ATM, is forgetting the PIN, the ATM machine allows only a number of attempts before confiscating the card. If one forgets the PIN, should request for the same at the issuing bank. Many fall victim to card frauds by not being vigilant and careful when transacting at ATM machines, be aware of your surroundings and keep the bank ATM card safe. The ATM provides a world of ease and accessibility to the users, by its easy, instantaneous and safe process.

Why Money Is Worth More Than Life

It is the great trap that has misled and conditioned people since the time of the Roman Empire. Prior to this people traded in goods and clay cylinders and tablets of ancient times verify that money was never used. The rise of coins was gradual and at first untrustworthy as merchants were used to dealing in exchange. Two sheep might have been worth one cow or a sack of barley, and these exchanges are recorded as such.

Only with the introduction of iron and complex alloys could money be minted and the first coins are primitive in design and some carried the king’s likeness while others might bear other images. ‘Exchange’ is the same as ‘X-change’ or ‘changed by the cross’ and that concept needs explaining.

Following my reincarnation and with a strong link to the Spirit of the Universe, the real God, it took me back in time to the origin of religion and the first crucifixion. It showed me the Mother God of Babylon and how it reigns supreme to this day. The identity of the two beasts of Revelation was also made known and the story is now complete.

At the age shown to me between lives the Spirit commissioned me to tear down the wall of blindness manufactured by religion and bring in the harvest. We are in the last days and the prophecies are coming true.

It takes thousands of pages to explain and the Internet is the mountain of knowledge given by God for this time. It is spreading the truth as everyone has access to it and the light it exudes is rocking the foundation of the wall and ripping it down. The rest is up to people to make use of it and seek the Spirit before it is too late.

Money is the handicap, however, as the majority prefer it to their chance for eternal life. They neither understand nor care what God has revealed because their greed for wealth and man-made power is paramount. They will even die to protect their fortunes and eternal death awaits them.

Appointments – Manage Your Time Better At Home to Be Effective

What would happen to you if your home life was more organized than it is right now? Can work-life balance be achieved? What are the tools at our disposal? Could scheduling appointments and keeping them at home help us save time and prioritize?

What is the challenge we face? I sometimes find that time spent at home can be the busiest time, especially in the times we live in. Imagine someone working from home, home-schooling children, and sometimes even doing a side hustle. Imagine also the full-time home-based entrepreneur. How do they manage to do all they need to do in a day?. We are living in a time when many entrepreneurs and even company employees have adopted work- at – home culture. This comes with its challenges as the lines become blurred between home and work. These blurred lines and constraints on the limited resource called time result in over-worked, under-rested, burnt-out individuals. Whilst good time management has been encouraged and indeed, embraced in the workplace, I believe more needs to be done in changing the mindset for the elusive work-life balance to be achieved.

What are the tools at our disposal? To manage time effectively at home, there are many interventions one can employ including setting goals for the day, prioritizing wisely, setting a time limit for every task, organizing oneself, and instituting the discipline of appointments. Yes, an appointment at home! We can spend time pontificating on the pros and cons of each intervention, however, I believe we need to focus on appointments and see how this can powerfully change the course of one’s day regardless of whether it’s a workday or weekend. Life is busy as it is without any intrusions. The question is how do you handle the one who announces that they are at the gate. These can be friends, neighbors, a salesman of some product you do not even need. I am not promoting regimentation here but rather a culture of filling your day with what’s important. Everything that we succeed at is because we carefully plan and execute it. I am a firm believer that you cannot manage time if you do not manage yourself thus I implore you to incorporate planning and appointments into your repertoire. I am not talking about something I do not do. I have to achieve many things in a day therefore I set appointments with my work, others, and myself.

Could scheduling appointments and keeping them on the home front help us save time and prioritize? Whereas we have established that it is a normal business practice to set appointments and keep them, we need to abandon the liberal open-door policy of allowing all and sundry to have access to us as and when they please on the home front. Please understand where I am coming from. We each have greatness within us but for us to achieve it we need to culture great habits. Employing the use of appointments at home and seeing only those people you had agreed to see removes non-essential encounters especially during the most productive hours. I know this will vary with culture, geographical region, or even level of affluence, whether you live in a low density or high-density residential area, but doesn’t negate the need to be organized and effective. Controlling access determines how organized you are and how well you will work and rest when the time for scheduled rest comes.

What do we need to do differently? We need to be disciplined and diligent, learn to say no, now is not a good time, let’s make an appointment for next week. What are the benefits of this approach? You are not always fire-fighting to meet deadlines, You are not always tired because you have not taken time out to rest. You have set aside enough time to spend with your loved ones or a loved one. If you are a busy person, I am sure you appreciate what I am saying. Whether it’s time to work uninterrupted, family time, or “me-time”, it takes some kind of order to enjoy it.

I am not saying that those that come unannounced are bad people. No, not at all, they probably are people you enjoy spending time with. Nevertheless, there must be prior communication so that you can attend to your visitor(s) when it is convenient for both you and them. It can be quite disrupting and a whole day can just pass by without achieving anything that you had planned to do.

As we grow older we begin to appreciate that rest and recovery need to be scheduled. The fact that I am relaxing doesn’t mean that I don’t have anything to do. One therefore cannot assume that just because you are at home you are available. Maybe you have scheduled that time to rest. That is important. You need to make an appointment with yourself, spouses need to also set aside time for each other. Parents need to schedule a time to spend with their children. When you have some sort of order in your life you determine who sees you and who you see. It also means that your relationships will be healthy and that makes you a happier person.

In conclusion, I believe that the work-life balance can be achieved. There are many tools at our disposal just like it is in the workplace.I believe we could do more and be happier if we are disciplined enough to make only the commitments we can keep.I am certain that setting appointments and keeping them at home help us save time and prioritize.
